Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium placed in the jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge for those who have lost a tooth or teeth, assisting the patient in achieving full dental function.

Utilization of implants enables the replacement of each patient's requirements ,addressing the specific care through a programme of surgery or surgeries demanded ,ensuring that our patients never loose their smile.

The Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) is the joint that joins the jaw with the skull allowing the opening and closing and other movements of the mouth. When the TMJ is out of alignment to the joint a disfuction occurs of the TMJ.

There are a number of conditions that can cause this, such as:

  • Compromised alignment of the jaw
  • Stress
  • Tooth loss
  • Bad habits (nail biting)
  • Bruxism

The symtompts of these problems are:

  • Cracking in the joint
  • Blockage in the opening of the mouth
  • Pain at the TMJ level (localized at ear level, or rear of the neck which sometimes can be confused with problems at the cervical vertebrae)

Bruxism is the friction and rubbing of the teeth and produces breakages and deteration of dental pieces. The most common type of Bruxism is night time bruxism, which occurs unconsciously and affects both adults and children.

The treatment for these type of joint problems include:

  • Occlusal adjustments
  • Mouth guards
  • Physiotherapy
  • Oral surgeries

Improvement of the appearance of the teeth trough several techniques to achieved the complete satisfaction of the patient.

Our own blood is a fluid with different functions. It is through our blood that we regulate our temperature and carry nutrients and oxygen. It also has a healing function: repairs damage that may occur to the body. Blood forms a primary tissue in the damaged area and healing factors are carried by blood to the area.

We can divide the blood into two fragments: one part red (oxygen and nutrients) and white one (defend cells, hormones and healing items).

Applying theory to practice, if we are to cause damage to the body (eg, tooth extraction) or if you want something to heal faster (eg knee injury), the idea of having a "repair product" to speed healing / recovery of tissues, is a weapon that should not be dismissed.

It is in the white blood where we find our ally for this purpose. In the white fraction whe find growth factors, whose function is to REPAIR the damage. Through a process of blood centrifugation (sedimentation by different molecular weights) we separate the white and red series. We'll take the richest fraction of GROWTH FACTORS of the white portion series; This is a golden hue liquid, that will be essential for a FAST AND CORRECT tissue healing.

This technique is scientifically proven and being of our own it PRODUCES NO REJECTION on our organism.

Returning function and shape to the teeth in the most aesthetically way possible.

  • Crowns and bridges ceramic-metal.
  • Crowns and bridges over implants.
  • Over dentures (sobredentaduras)
  • Total prosthesis removable
  • Partial prosthesis removable

Dental implants have helped and help many patients to resolve satisfactorily the loss of one or more teeth. Is a process where we replace the absence of a tooth using a titanium fixture to the jaw bone or maxilla.

Whe`ve been placing implants for more than 20 years in Spain; and we place them in the same way we did. We create a small or moderate injury to visualize the bone so the implants can be placed. Like any wound created, there is a process of inflammation and discomfort to the patient (eg, edema, hematoma, ...).

Today we can minimize the impact of surgery. Through a 3D study analysis, implants can be placed THROUGH the gingiva without stitches and in a PERFECT POSITION to then place the teeth.

For this process you will need a 3D IMAGE, a PROJECT of what the future theeth is going to be and a good gum THICKNESS. Guided surgery is a process where the implants placed in a PRECISE way and with NO PAIN.
